What customers say?

“ Everything you need. Authentic, friendly, high-quality, and neither too cheap nor too expensive. Highly recommended! Be sure to try the house red wine; it comes from "next door" and the wooden barrel is surely at least 100 years old. ”

- Wildnis Paule -

“ Restaurant inside a cave with good food. The price is similar to other restaurants in the area. Many dishes can be ordered as half portions. They have a variety of options and homemade desserts. The staff are very friendly. After a mistake, they apologized several times. Keep in mind the location; to get there you have to climb a fair amount of hills, which some drivers might find difficult. ”

- Eleazar Sosa Sousa -

“ A nice taverna located on the street, the menu is quite extensive, and the quality is top-notch. Delicious local dishes, from rabbit and ham hock to salad, which was beautifully garnished with nuts and seeds. The sea bream on tap is always a hit, and the (house) wine is from Bodegon 35. The kids think the waiter is Tony Stark; there's a resemblance :) I can confirm the photos in the reviews. ”

- Torben Katzmann -

“ Local specialties, an insider tip that's not overrun by tourists. From the outside, you wouldn't know you're sitting in a kind of volcanic cave. The grilled octopus, Russian salad, and garbanzas con cabrito are delicious. Definitely a must-try on your next vacation. ”

- Christoph Hoitsch -

“ Everything was perfect: the food, the service, and the price. We had a great meal. ”

- Juan Carlos Delgado -

“ Classic guachinche with very good food, good service, great price, small parking area, wonderful exterior views and the place is somewhat out of the ordinary, an enclave of normal house attached to a great cave that makes you feel good, all very pleasant, worth going. ”

- J. Ignacio Muiño Gutierrez -

“ Great place, very good wine, good food, and good service with reasonable prices. ”

- Andres Molowny Artengo -

“ A pleasant dining room, partly in a cave, with old photos and portraits of the area. A very traditional Canarian guachinche atmosphere. Quick, friendly, and efficient service. The dishes are simple but delicious because everything is homemade! There's no secret: good ingredients make good food. Try the sweet potato salad, the spinach croquettes, the breaded mushrooms... there's plenty to choose from. The meat dishes are also excellent, such as the sirloin tips or the rabbit, either fried or in salmorejo sauce. The prices are reasonable and reflect the quality of the service. They have a lively, fruity white wine from Bodega 35... don't miss it! It has a grapefruit flavor! The desserts are also homemade, in case you're still hungry. There's parking next to the restaurant. Don't miss it if you're visiting La Matanza de Acentejo! ”
